Welcome back NineSixFourTwo fans! This podcast has NumberNine and the Fool draft 2 competing test cricket teams, but instead of using actual cricket players with actual cricket skills, NumberNine and The Fool are drafting non-cricketing sport stars.
The rules are as follows:
- Can only pick one sports person from any sport (If a football player is picked, that person can no longer pick any other football players)
- Special rule if a multisport athlete is picked as the all rounder , any sport they have played at a high level can no longer be picked. If Multisport legend Jim Thorpe is picked, then that person can no longer pick a track and field, pentathalon, american football, baseball, or basketball player in any position.
- If picking E-Sports players, then the whole franchise is removed (i.e. picking an Age of Empires 2 player removes all Age of Empires franchise game players)
- E-Sports players picked as an all-rounder remove all game franchises they are known for
- No restriction on the coaches regarding coaches
- The Fool gets to start and makes his #1 pick, then NumberNine picks his #1, then back to The Fool and so on
- If a sports person gets picked, the other side cannot pick them
- Each team must also nominate a captain and explain why

Picks #1 – 5 are the batters (explain what attributes you think these players bring)

Pick #6 is the all rounder

Pick #7 is the wicketkeeper

Pick #8-#11 are bowlers and can be decided on what sort of bowler (spin vs pace) as well as any other attributes they will bring

Pick #12 is the choice for a coach
