We are heading into the final weekend of games and thus the final weekend of our Fantasy Football League.
The last round of games (plus a correction to an error) pretty well sealed the final results so this last week (like the real premier league) has very little to play for as Dewtastic has claimed top spot and can claim his (probably fictional) prize by messaging the editor
Last weeks games had a few surprises but generally went to the higher ranked side. My side managed to just get past A Stab in the Dark, which consigns Gazza to 10th, whilst I can leap past Ninja Monkeys to 8th if I can beat Eddie and Ninja somehow loses to Soccer!. Elsewhere the big talking point is the massive win by Eddie over Warsong to guarantee Eddie 2nd spot (but not cigar for you!) This came because of Spurs complete lack of ability to play their game in the weekend after the heartache of throwing the chance for the title away against Chelsea in the previous round (which is what we do.) .

This week the big games are ElBaconi’s Diablos v the average and Old Warsonians v Forever fan, as these two games will determine 3rd, 4th & 5th. A win by Warsong over 11th placed Forever will ensure that Warsie claims 3rd, and even with his poor form lately he should still manage that,esp since Spurs will look to go out on a high v relegated Newcastle with pride as well as bragging rights over ArsenalÂ
on the line.Â
In the other battle I expect ElBaconi to take out the Average as he has been scoring well recently, and Average is now a bit up and down as the end of the season idleness is in full swing.
