This time the we have our take on the latest hot topic, the purchase of Newcastle United football club by a consortium headed up by the Saudi Public Investment Fund. We also delve into other large purchases of football clubs, including Sheikh Mansour’s purchase of Manchester City, and of course Roman Abramovich’s purchase of Chelsea back in 2003.
