Interview with Warsong

The Fool: Welcome again everyone to the second installment of our interview series. This is where I have interviewed the top four of our NineSixFourTwo Fantasy Football League. Yesterday we interviewed top placed Dewtastic, and today I have the great pleasure to have Warsong, manager of the fourth placed Old Warsonians. Thanks for being here Warsong!
Warsong: Thanks for having me and call me George.
The Fool: I think I will keep with Warsong, I never liked the other name. Now first up, tell us a bit more about yourself?
Warsong: I live in Rangiora, where the weather is either too hot, too cold, or too windy. It does not rain, except when it does. I like making bags of sand (day after day for months on end, who is buying all this bloody sand?), hitting things with sticks, and long walks on the beach.
The Fool: Hitting things with sticks is quite fun, and helpful. Now speaking of walks on the beach, exactly how long are your walks on the beach?
Warsong: Not far, because it is too cold and windy to be pleasant.
The Fool: That’s no good! You need to have a nice ling walk on the beach for it to be any good at all. Now, has the 2nd Annual 9642 Fantasy League changed you in anyway?
Warsong: No at all.
The Fool: I am a little disappointed in that. Anyway, can you share some of your winning strategy with us simple plebs?
Warsong: Certainly. Try and get as much of the overall best 11 in your team at one time as you can. Also pick that guy who consistently scores lots of points as your captain every week. That guy is awesome.
The Fool: That is very good advice I guess, very hard to fault anyway. Anyway, What do you like to do with your time outside of 9642 Fantasy Football?
Warsong: I like to play computer games, but I actually spend most of my time working, sleeping, or getting woken up too early in the morning by a small person.
The Fool: Yeah you got to look out for those mini-me’s, they don’t seem to have any concept of Sunday sleep ins. So, since you live in Red & Black country now, have you joined the dark side yet and started to support the Crusaders?
Warsong: No, Chiefs all day.
The Fool: Good boy, I don’t think I have ever been prouder of you. Also you are a Wolves fan, Are they even in the championship at all?
Warsong: Let me check…. They were a solid 14th. So unlike Charlton and Bolton, yes they are still in the Championship.
The Fool: Well congratulations to them I guess. Are they ever going to be back in the Premiership?
Warsong: Leicester have proved that anything is possible, so why not.
The Fool: Yeah, Leicester have taught us all that if we believe enough anything is possible. Anyway, to finish I have a couple of fan questions. First, from a Mr B Withy; If you could be any superhero, who would you be?
Warsong: I’m not sure, but I would immediately use my powers for evil, so perhaps this is not the best question to ask.
The Fool:Err… That is probably for the best I guess. Last question then is from a Ms C Storey, and she asks; What is the best flavour of M&M?
Warsong: Brown. Delicious brown.
The Fool: Solid choice, although I regret to inform you that NumberNine may want to deduct points from you for saying that a colour is a flavour. Anyway that is all we have time for today, thanks to you Warsong for coming in and talking with us.
